IAG Cargo is built around four core values: Collaborative Actions, Heartfelt Pride, Curious Minds and Determined Attitudes. Recognising that many colleagues across the globe were championing these values every day – it was time they all received the recognition they truly deserved.
IAG Cargo wanted to celebrate high-performing colleagues across the business with an event that recognised those who champion the core brand values, brought together colleagues across the globe and ultimately, improved overall workplace culture.
With this event being the first of its kind at IAG Cargo, it was important it created a sense of excitement and made colleagues feel proud – proud of the amazing work they do, proud of their peers and finally, proud of the company they are an integral part of.
With an existing, memorable connection to The National History Museum in London, IAG Cargo couldn’t think of a better place to hold this exclusive colleague event. The event needed a special look and feel to truly bring it to life.
Working closely with IAG Cargo from start to finish, we created the ‘Pride in our People’ Awards – a people-centric celebration that represents the pride colleagues have in themselves and their work. We wanted colleagues to feel valued and appreciated, whilst ensuring communications about the event felt warm and inclusive.
After creating a name and creative identity for the Awards, we worked on an extensive range of assets for the event covering teaser and launch communications to on-the-night materials. From digital screens to emails, winner certificates and chocolate box designs to the Awards themselves, we brought ‘Pride in our People’ to life.
Colleagues felt the excitement of the event – IAG Cargo received more than 200 nominations for the Awards, and more than 75% of colleagues entered their names into the ballot to win tickets to attend the event.
On the night, ‘Pride in our People’ united a global workforce – creating a true sense of pride and reinforcing that IAG Cargo is a great place to work.
By unifying colleagues across the globe, recognising outstanding colleagues and celebrating the amazing work happening at IAG Cargo every day, ‘Pride in our People’ instilled a true sense of pride in colleagues across the entire business – a feeling that will last and continue to have an impact long after the night of the event.
